Savvybuyer wrote: »I'm sure this is old news to those of us seasoned in this now, but if you buy items that are over 10% more expensive at the competitor you're comparing to, A's voucher goes to 10% cheaper than the rival's more expensive price so it subtracts from your APG voucher. (It doesn't matter if competitor is more expensive but by 10% or under, e.g. 98p competitor, A 90p, as you get 10% cheaper than the 98p and that's still a saving even if less than 10% off. £1 at the competitor and 90p A is neutral, so can be on an APG shop - if you're sure the competitor is £1 and not more expensive than that.) Hope this helps*, I'm just trying a quick addition to both my Tv A and Tv S as item showing as OOS in my local T but may be avail for others. Needless to say, for shoppers in A, near none of the Tv A should go on an A v T list!! The only exception is when T is exactly 10% more expensive than A (and the item isn't avail in M, S or W cheaper than T's price: if it is, then A v whoever of those is cheaper). Apologies to go on and complicate things more by giving full picture.
* End at this point, before I go into confusion for those not already expert at it.
Not at all, that is extremely helpful!
I am attempting to learn this stuff as quickly as possible and have been reading for hours now trying to familiarize myself and have been feeling like I have made merely dents into it all, so this is more than welcome. The more complicated the better

Savvybuyer wrote: »To answer your specific question, absolutely items cheaper at the competitor to go on comparison vs the competitor. That's how APG works (but best of course to be on A v the competitor with the lowest price). And I also do prices per gram of various competitors, where I can, and go into it a lot more than that. But for a first-timer, it'll do that the competitor (one of T, S, W or M, whichever *one* you are comparing to - don't mix items cheaper at different competitors) is cheaper.
:T Cheers
Should be good to go then. Watch me pay full price for everything :rotfl:2013 Wombles onto Giftcard Challenge £0/£1200 -

I still haven't figured out how to post up an image of my receipt, but Innocent x 2 multibuy was not recognised either, and nor was 3 x 2l of diet coke.
So for 4 shower gel, 3 diet coke and 2 Innocent plus fillers I got an APG of £8.91.When The Fun Stops Stop0 -
Not sure what triggers are?
Sauce is not on a multibuy according to sada site but it is showing on my msm, is there a reason it would show on mine but not yours
So let me check I understand this, if something is not showing on MSM for anyone, it does not compare and does not count toward your 8 items, if it shows for some people it does compare and count?
I thought you only needed 1 item to compare to count toward 8 items? Am I misreading that
Don't worry about "triggers" for now - that's something totally more complex. Likewise your question it would only cause confusion if I answer it at this stage, but yes.
You need 8 *different* items, different flavours or varieties of the same product count, 1 of which must be comparable to at least one of the competitors. And the eight items need to be grocery items and on MSM.0 -

It has been in my A's at that price, HTH.:starmod: DO IT NOW :starmod:0 -
