Mulberry sale has started

The reductions are pretty poor but better than nothing if there is something you have your eye on. I wanted a black forest Bayswater but it's still £716 so am going to give it a miss. I'm more than a little disappointed as is my credit card provider .

Disappointed but not surprised! Read a few weeks ago that their profits are down this year and they are moving away from outlets and wholesale, and towards expansion of their range and targeting upmarket boutiques. For that very reason I expected their Christmas sales reductions to be rubbish this year!

What I noticed (along with some other people on their Facebook page) was that they put their prices up by £100 before the sale. Bit cheeky.

So bad!

Also, £8 postage put me off. Although the higher end shops have postage of £5 or more and unless it's couriered I think that's outrageous.

selfridges is tomorrow for bags and beauty. last year they had them for £300 online. i was beyond surprised!
