Try putting an item in you basket....Think you'll find it's 'discontinued.....'
This could be one of two things:-
Preparation for 75% reductions or more ominously -
NO 75% ONLINE!!!!!!!!!:rotfl:
(When is Easter this year, BTW)0 -
I wasn't even thinking about trying to order online but stupidly decided to check what is currently in stock ad found loads of stuff they definitely don't have in my local. Why did I do it? I've got a full day of work tomorrow, ARGH! Plus, haven't they ditched our fave couple? I don't remember seeing them for a good while? No fun without them!If my words are missing letters then please excuse me....my keyboard is a tad dodgy!!0

When I sent DH to buy mince once, he came home with mincemeat! (as in what they use in mince pies...) Another time it was to buy cheese & crackers. He brought christmas crackers.IrishRose12 wrote: »lol sorry. Just sick of seeing the same 2 questions over and over again this evening lol. Never mind me, I'm getting sleepy lol.
Just let it wash over you. Life's too short to let it get you stressed. But the reason this thread is SO long is because no-one can be bothered to spend 10 minutes reading back two or three pages of posts or even doing a search within the thread. Most of the time it's the same few questions, which does get frustrating to those of us who read all of the posts.SandraScarlett wrote: »Isn't this fun! Every year there are dozens of posts with the same question, and to make things easier for newbies, here's a little tip (but don't tell anyone)!
Whatever the question, the answer is ...... We don't know! As in:
What time does the sale start on line?
Will there be more things in Birmingham/London/Manchester/Leeds/Bournemouth/Scarborough?
Will it definitely be in store tomorrow?
Will my store open early?
Will all gifts sets be included?
Will my store have more than the neighbouring stores?
Then, these are usually the definites:
The site will always crash
You'll stay up half the night, constantly saying to yourself "just another 10 minutes" then decide it's not worth going to bed and stay up the other half
At half past 7, other posters will wake up, daisy fresh, and 2 minutes after they log on, the sale will go live
You absolutely loathe these people
Things will disappear from your basket
The 75% discount won't be applied, first time
You'll get to the check out, and you'll have a message "You have a generic error"
You'll be pleased if you see the orange couple
You'll scream if you see the orange couple
Other people will post, saying that their store was empty and crammed with goodies, and they got so much
Other people will post, saying the first time they went online, they sailed through and checked out in 5 minutes
You'll find you have developed an unexplainable hatred for other posters
Your car won't start/the buses will be cancelled/there are no trains, due to air on the line
You find yourself trying to explain to your 3 year old that Mummy's crying bitter tears because her online basket is empty and everything is showing as out of stock
Your 3 year old laughs :rotfl:
******************************************
Please don't worry too much, it will be dreadfully upsetting, but it's only Bootsing.
xx
LOL! Oh, you make me laugh, Sandra. :rotfl:
That pretty much sums it up. Personally, I'm off to bed in a sec. I'm HOPING to get a good night's sleep (kitten might have other ideas!), and I'll aim to be awake earlier than usual to see if the sale is on, but there's no way I'm sacrificing my much needed sleep to get into town for opening time. If I get bargains, then great, but if not, then it's ok. Good luck & happy shopping, girls (and boys?) :beer:Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

I've just had to slap myself with my thinking of going to the Plymouth Boots for 8am and then to Newton Abbot for 9am opening.. Last year the Plymouth sale was very pleasant and everyone was helpful.0

Has anyone got a link to the S&G set, I don't think I seen it in my local store but want to know what it looks like so I can look out for it tomorrow. Also the NO7 set so I can check the products online as I am deciding what I what before I head out so I know wat I am looking for., thanks
Also does anyone know how many points I will collect if I use the extra points voucher (250 points when you spend £25) with the double points and I spend exactly £25.00? I can't work out how the double points voucher would kick in as never used a threshold and double points voucher together.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
I've just read the last 3 pages of this thread - haven't laughed like this for ages - absolutely brilliant!0
