The Boots 75% off sale must be the worst kept secret ever!!Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
I can't believe it has been one year since all this fuss regarding the 75% off sale, where has the time gone?! It is like reading last years thread (or should I say threads) all over again.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

I was in the East Kilbride store today and a woman who i know works there, she says even they don't know until a day or two before. That store hardly had anything left the other day but today the sales assistants were in the process of filing the shelves from blue crates and there seemed to be alot of stuff that they didnt have in before Christmas. So there is hope for the stores with very little.0

I think the stores tend to put a lot of stock out the back to make people think there is little left so they get everything at 50% off instead of holding out for the 75% off sale.A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0

The best Boots sale for me was 2009, when my mate and I went to Lakeside. It was absolutely manic, with folk phoning their mates and blocking each end of an aisle with their pushchairs, so they could sweep everything into their Big Blue Bags.
One woman said she'd travelled 80 miles (;)) and demanded - and got - several M & S trolleys to put her "charity" purchases in.
But oh! The gifts on offer. My best buy was the white No7 Vanity Case, originally £50, reduced to £12.50, less my 10% over 60 discount, less my £5 voucher - £6.25! :j
There were full size P & P face and body creams, and loads of other things, plus a 250 points voucher. Things got very heated, but at Basildon the police were called!
Those were the days.:)

Did Boots used to give a 10% discount for their own branded products or do they still do this?
I noticed my parents collect 10 points per £1 when purchasing Boot's own brand products (inc No7) so think this must be the new offer for over 60s?A home without a dog is like a flower without petals.0 -
I popped into my little boots today to pick up my sanctuary sets and there were signs up everywhere saying that the 50% sale ends on friday.0
