My dad overheard a group of staff in the Liverpool city centre store discussing clearing the shelves and setting things up ready for Friday. Could mean Friday's the day!

Went into the Chippenham branch at 5.15pm to collect my 2 x gok and 2 Sanctuary and No 7 advisor said to me the 75% off sale starts at the weekend. I asked after the No7 box set which was £65 reduced to £32.50 but she said there was only 5 left and they may not make it as far as the sale.

If it is this friday or weekend that would be different as always been a wednesday. A lot of the sales have been different this year

Like they didn't just do it a week early, and it will be next Wed like everybody has been saying.

I didnt expect it to start today when my friend and I went, we were actually going into boots for her to get a hairdryer!

We left the store at 10.30am and all goods were still being put through manually, all sale signs up and the little POS which showed how much you would pay at 75% off.

I had the sale marked down as the 16th or 23rd and could have bought more today if I had the cash and was prepared. I feel very lucky that I got alot of birthday gifts sorted today and it was my friends first 75% off sale - my word she can shop!

So true, I usually pop into Boots on my way to work and the shop is always pretty quiet until the sale starts then OMG the shop is mobbed and people fighting over stuff. Grrr!
Last year it was like Supermarket Sweep people sweeping stuff off shelves into bags.

I dont know if i want to wait till the 75% sale and risk it or just get what i want now in the half price sale

Never been in a big boots while the 75% sale is on and knowing me if someone was to push me about i would end up having a go at them and i would be the one to get kicked out lol

I was in my local today, was really surprised to see most of the stuff had gone! There were 3 bare aisles and all the toys had vanished! Definitely not 75% off though.

I'm very lucky in living in a small town! Our boots doesn't have much stock, and the past 2 years we've been going theres never really been anyone, just a handful of us! Me and my mum go in together so we grab things for each other if we can't reach. Quite happy this year as i won't be 3 months pregnant and fighting morning sickness with women trying to get the gifts off the shelves! Luckily i can escape early if it starts, and have wednesday planned (if it is!). Fingers crossed everyone gets what they want!

I really think it's tomorrow.
At my local tonight the staff were all busy putting all the sale stock in to a certain area of the shop and were textbook in their answers to my 'when do the further reductions begin'? question.
I will be driving down in the morning.
