It's my birthday next month, sisters are already asking what I want!
I would love to buy more craft supplies, some fabric, buttons, glue gun, and other things I can't think if right now
My family don't like to give cash, but they are happy to give gift vouchers. So I'm thinking either Hobby Craft or Dunelm mill. Both stores are close to me, but I don't really go to them so not sure what one is better, where I could get the most for my money?

I've been buying craft stuff for xmas, Home Bargains have glue guns for cheap. Boyes are great for craft stuff. If you have either near you.
Can I point out, with economics as they are, vouchers/gift cards can be a risk. Seems harsh but cash can't loose value. Just keep that in mind.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0 -
Tbh I will probably be in hobby craft on my birthday spending them :rotfl:
Home bargains isn't that far, not sure about Boyles, don't think I've ever seen one of them.... Will google themCan't think of anything smart to put here...0 -
We don't have Home bargains down here in the south. Fortunately we have the first ever Hobbycraft, Dunelm and The Range all close by.The Range have by far the best and cheapest crafty bits.My secret fantasy is having 2 men....

Cash IS vouchers. It's just that it's vouchers for every shop.If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

Are there any independent craft shops near you? I find Dunelm Mill & Hobbycraft (I'm also close to the first one. It put 3 small specialist shops in our little town out of business, but doesn't do what they did one-quarter as well) very expensive & their stock quite limited! But we have an independent in our county town, which is excellent - not as cheap as The Range or The Works, say, but with a much greater range of stuff stocked, helpful & knowledgeable staff and they also do vouchers as well as discounts for members of various art & craft-related clubs & Guilds. And there are a couple of indie fabric shops about too, which have much better ranges of fabric, quite different from the mainstream stores. Have a Google or a look around!Angie - GC May 25: £74.30/£500 : 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 21/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0
