This is the new way forward, Mangers Reductions in store already, no doubt they will be further reduced again, by how much I don't know, will be up to Store Mangers or by region. Believe they will be going into sale again at end of January, probably taking on the same way as the do with Per Una sales i.e. Clearance every six weeks.
