Sounds like you've identified the unhappiness in your life.I also meant to say that I have not included my partners income as he is a nightmare for giving me any form of money and does not contribute towards our son financially or food shopping etc.
Get out of debt ASAP.
Then, if he refuses to change (and a few blunt chats might achieve change), move on. This "man" is no role model for your son to look up to.0 -
Have you given everyone their presents yet ?
If not put some away for birthdays/next Christmas. It may not help immediately but will stop the need to buy during the year.0 -
Does your partner work and what does he spend his money on?
In some ways you are fortunate eg no rent to pay but one day you will want a place of your own and what will your OH contribute then?
Good on yer wanting to tackle your debts before it gets too late eh?
Seriously val is right, you need to give your OH a serious talking to.Karma - the consequences of ones acts."It's OK to falter otherwise how will you know what success feels like?"1 debt v 100 days £20000 -
Definitely have a talk with him, if he could take over the grocery shopping thats an extra £230 you would have to pay the debts. Maybe contact the pay day lenders and default or has this already been mentioned ? Are any of the catalogues on a buy now dont pay anything for 12 months ?0

Can you take any of the presents back and go out tomorrow and buy cheaper alternatives? No one is going to enjoy a present if they knew you were getting into debt for it. If you can't takesend back but want to sell them after christmas (say baby's presents) make sure you keep tags on/in boxes as you will get more money.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature.
