For anyone who was planning a trip to the newly re-opened Dickens museum over Christmas, be warned: the usual adult entry fee has been hiked up fro £8 to £18 from 24th - 26th Dec 12. Advance tickets are sold out but there may be some availability on the day if you're prepared to wait and pay £10 pp over the odds.
