For us the NHS they use the bradford scale, (occasion x occasion)x number of days, if over a certain amount we have to see the occupational health and are monitored and helped to not have more sickness.0

Yes the policy in place is normal, it tends to weed out those who pull a "sickie" as they went out the night before and are hungover. Not much you can do if its a cold and chest infection. At least she followed the procedure.0

Its common enough for companies to have published sickness policies similar to the OP. In my case,if your off and your duties must be covered,they steal a proportion of your salary and pay it to the person providing the cover.Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

The moment that she isn't feeling well, she should have told her superiors that she will be absent or that she will exchange shifts with someone else so that she won't have any problems with regards to tardiness...0
