Great ways to wrap a tiny present!!

My eldest DD got a necklace for youngest DD and its in a tiny bag...
So she makes a cardboard box... NO she says.. its still to small and weighs nothing...
So off to the back room she goes... And comes back with a HUGE box and some logs!
So into 2nd box she has put 2 logs, the small box, some bubble wrap, and some tinsel, so that when its shaken it kind of makes a swishy noise..
any other fab ideas for disguising pressies?

:D

My 9yo daughter has bought presents for me, her dad and her brother for the 1st time this year. She wrapped them today, hubby's socks are in a gigantic shoe box and my present, which I suspect is a packet of jelly beans is in another smaller shoes box. :rotfl: I find it very cute though. :D and they do make the xmas tree look nicer with presents under them. (I don't put anyone else's out till xmas eve night after kids are in bed)
  • I had a necklace for Christmas and knew I was getting it so would recognise it under the tree. It had a diamond and my mum hunted and hunted to find the right thing to give it in. She found a Christmas decoration a bit like a faberge egg with little diamonds on and which opened. She put the necklace inside and on Christmas morning hung it on the tree and waited for me to spot the new decoration :)

  • DD2 sobbed when her grandfather did that.

She wasn't a brat - but the disappointment to find he had tricked her was heartbreaking, especially when she thanked him for her lovely present and then hid under the stairs with the dog so we didn't see her upset.
