Free Finance Manager

Options
As a software developer I recently created a program that allows me to manage my finances, provide me with a 90 day account forecast as well as store important information such as birthdays, account log in details etc.

Upon finishing the program a couple of friends asked for a copy and I gladly obliged. The feedback from them was great, and they have since passed the program onto other friends who are now using it also. As it was so well received I thought I may as well put it out there and see if it can help others too.

I'm unsure of the rules with posting links but the program is completely free of charge and free of adverts etc. As I say, this was purely meant for myself to use and is not in any way posted for financial gain so hopefully this post will be allowed to stay.

I've placed a 3 minute video to give you a better idea of it. This can be found on YouTube, simply search for "Finance Manager Freeware" and it's the top result. If somebody could post the link that would be great - as a newbie I'm unable to.

In return, if it is useful to you all I would ask is that you leave some kind of feedback, either on YouTube or the Download.com website as I'm sure good feedback will come in useful when searching for a new job ;-)

Merry Christmas!

  • Just out of interest did anybody give this a try? Feedback would be great - especially if it allows me to help further. Thanks

I did take a look at the YouTube video and I thought that it was a nifty program, however I refrained from downloading as it covers much of what MoneyDance already does for me (I'm afraid I had already paid for this!).

It certainly looks easier to use than other free packages I've used such in the past as GNUCash, but not quite as feature rich IMO.

All in all though, it looked pretty good.
