Elle free manicure set - did anyone get it?

Hi, did anyone ever receive this as I have been told at least three times that it is out of stock?:mad:

started my subscription (3 for £3,00) for ELLE in Jan 07, with a view to getting the free manicure set. Endless amounts of emails from me to them and promises!! from them in reply. I was once told that it was 'en-gourt'. I think they mean en-route !! Nothing has come. I gave up this week and, cancelled my subscription. I don't expect to see the free gift at this rate. really disappointed at this rate

Thats exactly what happened to me. Not as good adeal as it first appeared or maybe advertsing it in this forum overwhelmed them?

I took up the same offer as recommended by Martin.
Recieved 3 mags but no manicure set.
Contacted Elle customer services and was informed that the offer only appertained to a 12 month contract. this is not what Martin nor the elle T&C's indicated.

hi, all us manicure set seekers. I now have an email from Elle says same as nonsuch contact with Elle. ie only appertaining to 12 month contract. this doesnt' make sense as, some other money savers received theirs and, I'm sure this was in the trial period. I doubt all of them started the 12 month contract. lots of time and effort wasted on this. I'm not too happy with elle. not martin's fault though. I read the t&cs the same as him. Elle also gave me the run around saying the gift was on it's way, as I outlined before. I will have to be more cautious in future. I asked them to show good will (and send a set) as it was for a friend's pressie but, no joy. I'm putting this one to bed. A not entirely relevant point now. Did anyone see Martin on GMTV this morning? about the court case ruling and the bloke not getting bank charges. Martin is so lovely when he's angry (I just thought I'd mention that) cheers
