They are not holding it up ,they sent a letter stating they are happy to proceed in respect of the allowances i,e the incentive in place. The solicitor is saying the offer is not valid because they dont mention the actual cost of the flat. She wont exchange even though I have the correct amount on the mortgage offer and deposit paid over etc. It is all just odd. Flying out the country tomorrow for holidays, just praying that this gets resolved but beginning to lose faith.0

The purchase price on the contract and mortgage offer have to match. Your solicitor can't proceed on the current basis.
Either the property has a gifted deposit, or it doesn't. If it doesn't, the contract needs to reflect that.I am a mortgage broker.
