Jobcentre- enhanced job search support programme

Hello, can anyone shed a bit of light on a letter I have received today. I have received a letter saying
'you have been selected for an enhanced job search support programme to help you back t work
This may include:
more intensive job search activities
attending the job centre more often, and
a full review of your benefits
I am a little concerned about the full review of my benefits, I only receive JSA, and am wondering if there is a reason for the possible review of my benefit. I am working hard to find a job, and am competent at searching and applying for jobs, just having no luck hearing back from people.
I also have to sign a declaration saying
there's been no change in circs, and I have done no work, paid or unpaid, etc
I haven't done any work, and there has been no change so I am a little worried as to why they may or may not think there might be a need for me to sign this to confirm I haven't.
Is this something to worry about or is it something that happens to lots of people? I fear it may be something to worry about as I have searched for information on the internet and found none.
Hope someone may be able to offer some advice
Many thanks

Hi Stacey,
The jobcentres are sending out lots of these scare mongering letters out.
It is all to do with the Universal Jobmatch and their aggressive attitude to frightening people to sign up to it.
If you can show you are doing your best and keeping to your jobcentre agreement then you have nothing to worry about.0 -

Thank you very much for your reply. I have been so worried since I read it, as JSA is all I live off and it would be terrible if for some reason I lost it. Think the 'full review of benefits' and the declaration I had to sign scared me a little.
Thank you
Merry Christmas0 -

Please make sure that if you are signing anything they cant dupe you into indirectly signing up for the non compulsory universal job search. As the previous poster said, its all bully boy tactics ,they have nothing better to do

It sounds to me like a letter for MFA (More Frequent Attendance).
Some people are asked to come in more often if their job search is regarded as inadequate or not realistic or something like that.
Have you ever been given that impression?Fokking Fokk!0 -
Nomally after a 6 mths on JSA one week you sign and the next you go for a job search (this was for everyone) and then when out of work 12 mths you go to the Work Programme and then only sign at the job centre.mvengemvenge wrote: »It sounds to me like a letter for MFA (More Frequent Attendance).

That is totally separate from MFA. An adviser can call a customer in as often as they want, particularly if they have doubts about their job search.
Once people are on the Work Programme it's different. The Job Centre's only job then is to check job search alone, not call you in for interviews with an adviser.Fokking Fokk!0 -

And as everyone knows, bully boy tactics are counterproductive & can backfire.out_of_cash wrote: »Please make sure that if you are signing anything they cant dupe you into indirectly signing up for the non compulsory universal job search.
