Oh noes I ordered the patent high heeled ones, hope they're not gonna be too bad! I've had two pairs of patent high heeled ones (Darcie and Darla) and they didn't need breaking in at all, comfortable as anything.

Then I bought a pair of normal finish normal DM's from the 'broken in' collection, ironically these were as hard as rock and gave me blisters on the first wear so I haven't dared to wear them again since, lol. Fingers crossed...

My blue pair that I ordered from Amazon (prior to this order going on air) arrived yesterday, don't worry peeps, they are not hard as nails (the patent one's) I wore them around the house yesterday to break them in and to be honest, they didn't need breaking them in, I just enjoyed wearing them as I've always wanted a pair of DM's. I can't wait for my purple patent one's to arrive from Top Shop when they do, I'm sure they will be as comfy as the blue one's I got from Amazon. I would say they are lovely and soft and excellent quality. The patent leather seems the same quality as my Lulu Guinness Patent Leather Suzy, don't worry peeps, you're gonna love your Patent DM's
