HELP! has dh killed our slowcooker ??

I have just gone to pop dinner in the slowcooker and found the plug fully imersed in water in a pan thats soaking !! :eek: (dh was washing up last night :rolleyes: )

What do I do ??
It's not very old and I use it loads and love it - can it be saved ?? :o

Please help !

    personally i'd leave it to dry for a few days/ a week. then get a qualified electrican to test it.

    but i wouldn't use it until i knew it safe.

    With plugs take them apart to allow to dry out, even somewhere warm the water sometimes stays in if it's got in
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Just swap the plug with one from another appliance until the original has dried out. Make sure you've got the same value fuse in it.

    It should be fine if its just the plug in water (once its dry that it!) but if its the actual slowcooker not just the bowl you will need to get it cheked by an electrician...
    I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I Know
