The lender will be looking at ways of getting out of that deal but if you have the right LTV and enough deposit it should be possible to PORT the existing mortgage.
If the OP has a LTV of say 70% now and wants to move to a bigger ( more expensive ) property but only needs a LTV of 60% because he has £60/70K deposit and equity in his current home the lender may well agree to port the current deal.0 -
