I don't understand why you didn't you do this, especially if the Supervisor was next to no help ?thanksfroyourhelp wrote: »How was it left with the supervisor ?

But surely you discussed with him the LOA that Mum had sent, that their processing centre had acknowledged receipt of it, but were delaying processing .... after all wasn't this the very purpose of your visit - to get this LOA actioned there and then ?? I don't understand why you simply walked away, having gained no ground by your visit !?thanksfroyourhelp wrote: »Are mge payments now back on track for normal collection ?

Clearing the arrears is priority on this ...
Having the LOA actioned is priorty on this
Complaining to their CEO that they didn't process the missed payment as a payment holiday, is not, in my opinion, where you should be concentrating your efforts right at this minute ... getting the account in order and LOA actioned, IS where all effort should be placed.
What has happened with the LOA - has this now been processed ??
Hope this helps

Again I agree with Holly, OP.
The complaint can be dealt with at a later date if need be. For now I would be concentrating on the issues that need dealing with now.0 -
i do appreciate the help
but i am getting nowhere very slowly

So no, it appears hasn't been chased, and as a result still hasn't been processed - given that they would not discuss the account with you.
With regards to collection visits, generally if the os amount is equal to a month or so, and Mum/you've made them aware when the £190 residue will be cleared, that should prevent a visit in the intrim. BUT, it will depend upon Nwides on collections team policy ..... this is why is imperative that the LOA issue is sorted, in order that you can discuss this with them (given the communication issues as a result of Mums disability).
Hope this helps

Probably a silly question... But have you put your mums details into https://www.entitledto.co.uk I know that the dss will make a token payment towards the mortgage in some cases. IIRC I was eligible for circa £16 per week. Not a lot, but it meant the difference between making the payment and being in arrears.
