Morrisons shelf price comparison tickets

We were in our local Morrisons yesterday and were checking comparative prices for tinned Red Kidney Beans when we realised that they and other tins of beans had the wrong comparison 'per kg' prices on the shelf tickets.

For instance there were Napolina Red Kidney Beans and Napolina Chick Peas the same weight and price per tin but the 'per kg' price on the shelf ticket was different.

There were three types of more expensive beans (can't remember the brand) all the same weight and price per tin but all different 'per kg' price.

I found one of the managment team who agreed there were a lot of inconsistencies and said it could be a national problem as they can't change these things in store. He did seem to be taking 'ownership' of the issue and thanked me for bringing it to his attention.

Now, the purpose of this post ! Would all you eagle-eyed Moneysavers :money: check your local Morrisons and see if they've tackled the issue and got the right comparison prices on the tickets ? If they haven't please bring it to the attention of customer services or better still one of the management team.

It's easy if there are two or more cans or packets of the same price and weight on the shelf to check if the 'per kg' price is the same.

For that matter, check in other stores too ! I don't believe it's a deliberate tactic, just a mistake, but if it isn't sorted out we, the customers, will be misled in our price comparisons.:sad:
