How to clean pyrex dish

I have a set of three pyrex dishes and one of them is in a bit of a mess with burnt on marks etc :o

I've tried everything from soaking in Fairy washing up liquid, cif, stardrops, oven cleaner and even used good old elbow grease but nothing seems to shift it

Any Ideas on how to make it like new again?

By bio soap powder do you mean washing powder that you use for clothes?

Yes, its the enzymes in the bio washing powder. Give them a nice, baked on casserole dish and they'll think its Christmas!

    Two things to try.
    1. Bicarb of soda with the green scratchy things

    2. Cream cleaner with the green scratchy thing

    good luck

I leave to soak in hot or hot soapy water while I come on here .......................................................................
then when I remember I refresh the hot water - now stone cold -add some stardrops (brings up glass lovely) & get to work with one of those metal scourers (sp?) - I love shining my pyrex I find it quite theraputic.............
I THINK is a whole sentence, not a replacement for I Know

It's funny what things are therapeutic. I also enjoy shining my pyrex, but the best thing I find is cleaning out a fire grate and laying a new fire :D . Unfortunately at this house we don't have open fires.

To clean these I use a paste made of bicarb and water (only a little water), smear it all over, then sprinkle with lemon.

Watch it fizz, wait an hour or so, and rub off.
