Co-op 2.79 % with 999 fees - same rate is available from Britannia?
  • Skipton do a 60% @ 3.08% + £195 application fee..

Their 2 yr is 2.39% for 50% which is attractive.

I'm erring on the 5 yr as interest rates cannot stay this low forever!

So Latecomer has given you the Coop deal at 2.79% ( just press Thanks !!)
The cost of £150K over 25 years at 2.79% would be £695 a month.
The interest rate will NOT stay at 2.79% for the next 25 years.
£999 fee and I like the Coop
It is a very good 5 year fix
Please use a " whole of market broker" to check out other deals

Yup I know that - was my way of saying that the same rate should be available at the Britannia. Probably didn't come across quite right :)

If you use " whatsthecost" you can work out if the COOP deal or the fee free Nationwide deal is the best for you.
Please do not just look at the cost each month but how much you would owe at the end of the 5 years.

Surely that depends on the LTV as coop max is 60%

Coop is not available via a broker so no cashback possible - not sure if Britannia gives this option. However Coop allows up to 10% per annum overpayments into effectively a flexible facility from which the funds can be withdrawn or used for a payment holiday if required.
    I think....
