Far Cry 3 from Game

Got Far Cry 3 for x Box 360 last week for my grandson as one of his Christmas presents. It was £44.95 from Game.
Today it reduced to £22.50 so I took the one I bought back, asked for a refund and intended to purchase it again at the reduced price.
The staff member just handed me the £22.50 difference, and gave me the same game back.
This was after a manager working the queue said this could not be done.
Worth doing if you purchased this game in the last 28 days.:)

That was good of the shop assistant. When ever I have bought Xbox games (usually Argos) they say they are excluded from the 28 day money back guarantee. I also bought far cry 3 for £39.99 and gutted to hear its now £22.50

Only if the seal is broken:
From: http://www.argos.co.uk/static/StaticDisplay/includeName/ReturnsAndRefunds.htmPlease note all video games consoles are excluded from the Argos 30 day money back guarantee. Please ensure you read the specification on the box before installation. We also cannot accept back video gaming software under our 30 day money back guarantee if the plastic wrapping has been unsealed – this does not affect your statutory rights.
Otherwise should be covered.

Gutted

Bought this literally on Monday for £37.99. All wrapped under the recipients tree now, so nothing can be done.
Cracking price for a great game.0 -

Go and buy the game at the reduced price and wait a few hours and take it back with the full priced receipt I done this the other day in argos as a present I had brought was over 40 cheaper.0 -
Gutted. I too bought this for £38 last week and it arrived yesterday morning just as I was reading that Amazon and Game had it for £22.0

If you've bought it within 28 days from Game and it's still sealed, and you have the receipt, they will definitely refund on it. Then just probably give you the same game right back.
I couldn't have let it go even if I had already wrapped it. Maybe £1 or so, but definitely not £22.50!0 -

Just goes to show you should always at least give it a try.
I wouldn't sleep if I'd paid £44.95 for a game reduced two days later to £22.50 and didn't go all out to get it at the reduced price via a refund and then buying it again!!0 -
I also bought this from amazon last week for over £37, I called them and asked if they would refund me the difference rather than me return it and they agreed. :j .They said they have a policy if you buy anything from them and it reduces in price they will refund the difference as long as its within 10 days of purchase. Very impressed with their after sales service.:A You may be only one person in the world,
But you may also be the world to one person. :A0 -
Just ordered it from the Game website happy days!0
