Hi, has anyone heard of mercantile recovery solutions ltd? They are chasing me.for a debt, i had 2 letters arrive on the same day a week ago, so i phoned, informed them i am in a debt managemnt plan and couldn't make their.minimum payment. Which at the time.they accepted, 5days later and i have re ieved a text message saying if i do not call them.before 5pm they will be sending someone to my house, but when i phoned them there was no answer, i rang 6 times and left a message too. I dont know what to do, my debt is my secret and for the time being i would like it to stay so.
Help please!!

Hopefully, your DMP is with one of the free providers and you are not paying for it. You could contact your provider and let them know about this.
Did the text say ...will be sending... or ... may be sending....? Very few debt collection agencies actually send someone round as they have no legal power or authority.

You could dent a letter to the company saying all communication is to be in writing only and ther is one which withdraws their right to come to your property.
