Eggnog?

I know it's easy to make, and I have a tonne of recipes already so I don't need links.

But I was wondering if anyone knew if any stores are selling pre-made Eggnog?

Thanks :)

  • Isn't that the same as advocaat? If so, should be available in supermarkets or off licences.

Amazon sells it (6 pack only at the moment), and so does Ocado, although they are currently sold.

Advocaat isn't quite the same. Doesn't have all the spices and stuff.

I'm sure I've seen it in the world foods aisle in Asda.

it's not Asda online, but I've noticed none of the world foods stuff is. I will have a look in Asda Cribbs when I go up there on the weekend (Gods help me)

    Tesco sell it.

    I was suprised as well.

I was looking for rice crackers in the world food section when a girl started loading a basket with small tetra boxes. I had to check out what bargain I was missing ;) and it was egg nog.

    Here it is.

Looking at the ingredients on the Tesco link, wouldn't it be almost as easy and certainly better to make your own? I know you said you don't want to but :

Water,Whole Milk ,Sugar ,Milk Solids ,Egg Nog Base ,Stabilizers ,Artificial Colouring & Flavouring ,Overproof Rum ,Artificial Cognac ,Brandy Flavour

doesn't sound too exciting. What's artificial cognac?
