My bf worked for a bed company for 20 yrs. Best advice is go to dreams and push hard on the mattreses, if you can feel circles that is the springs in the cheaper ones. Also you can ask which ones contain memory foam. You sink into them slower with less bounce. As for the bedstead you can get various from Argos or try Pine warehouse for top stuff.0
