Any clues when Wilkinsons sale starts?

I've got my eye on some rattan heart shaped lights or, in fact, any of their novelty lights that are cheap. I noticed a couple of items were labelled as in a sale last week but I'm wondering if anyone knows - maybe from last year - when the main after xmas sale starts?

Toys are usually reduced on Christmas Eve and then they stagger the reductions on other items over Christmas Eve/Boxing Day (if they are open) and the 27th. Not sure how it will be this year but I bet someone who works there will know whats happening this time.

Some decorations were half price in the High Wycombe store today, but no wreathes or ligts were included as far as I can see. Some stuff was still being reduced so it they may come down in price too, last year I got some reduced on Christmas Eve but another branch a few miles away had no reductions till the 27th December.

There seemed to be quite a few sets of Christmas lights 1/2 price in Wilkinsons in Huntingdon on Tuesday so might be worth having a look if you are passing by a Wilkinsons?

*whispers* the decs and trees are half price now but nothing else is going half price until after christmas. In previous years they have reduced things on christmas eve but this year is different and most things are being reduced after the big day. The sale will start on the 27th.;)

Thanks - espesh Crumble pie I will pop in tomorrow anyway as I'm still at work (if I can wade through the crowds) other than that I'm not going anywhere near any shops until after xmas! Was going to try Boxing day but might wait until 27th now after that tip.

There wasn't many lights left when I went into my store on Saturday. I also noticed it's closed on Boxing Day. Are all Wilkinson's closed on Boxing day? Was hoping to have a look in the big one near my mum's while I'm staying there at xmas.

wilkos normally close on boxing day - I think there are a few that open boxing day but not many.

I didnt think they could reduce the price on some of the stuff, is it not cheap enough?

last year the main sale didnt start till 28th for some reason. It felt like they'd waited a whole year!

Maybe they can't on some of the stuff, but some of the stuff is definitely reduced after christmas.
