Cheapest pension?

I have a compulsory (well, pretty much) smallish pension transfer that I need to put into a new pension. I'm looking for something that I can open, put the transfer in, choose the fund(s) including probably some mainstream ready-salted investment funds, and maybe change them once every couple of years. Looking for the lowest startup fees and lowest annual fees.

What companies offer these kinds of things?

About £7k. The only other option is a refund of my contributions which would be £1.6k, so it seems like a no brainer.

Looks fairly good (and easy). Is there much difference between providers, e.g. between L&G and Scottish Life etc? I'm guessing that if you're happy with the fees, and happy with the range of funds, and the T&Cs seem okay, there's not much more to go by - or would that be wrong, am I missing something?

Our group pension is with Friends Life and while their web site has a slightly clunky feel, it does the job and they have some funds that I'm very happy with. I mainly use one of the balanced index fund of funds ones as it uses active asset allocation on top of mostly passive trackers.

My wife also used to have an Aviva stakeholder via Cavendish but the fund choice is clearly aimed at those who want to choose once and then forget about it for multi-decade periods. Of course, this might well be the best option!
I am not a financial adviser and neither do I play one on television. I might occasionally give bad advice but at least it's free.

Like all religions, the Faith of the Invisible Pink Unicorns is based upon both logic and faith. We have faith that they are pink; we logically know that they are invisible because we can't see them.
