@Sean G. informed advice mate thank you. seen a car at 1.5k less than I paid at same garage. 2 years older and 4x mileage. hoping not to get stung too much. I'll see what they say.0

take 2k of the price you bought itDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

Hi datsun, i'm also in ayrshire and have had many dealings with AC, also work in a similar field as you, except on another level.
I'd obviously suggest speaking to the dealer, but isn't there a tie in with a car company through your work, I know some people similar to you that used to get special deals with certain car companies but I don't know if it still applies or not.
Good luck, if I was more of a petrol head and not an 'eco-fuel' head i'd have been interested!!Thanks to all the competition posters.0 -
thanks. looks like I'm keeping it and taking the hit. sad times.0

LPG works well on turbo cars. Helps to cool the inlet and gives more power.
Some cars need a valve/cylinder lubricant. But not many cars out there wont run on it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Can you not swap for the wife's car until another car share is sorted? If she does fewer "shopping" miles it'll sort itself out.
And obviously you've learned not to base the purchase on anything on dynamic factors such as car share; you may only live once but you pay for it monthly regardless of circumstances!0
