I have just been doing some "house keeping" on the Original Post and have added the following message:
NOTE: We seem to have a lot of posters who become members and then are never heard from again. Could newbies make absolutely sure that they are able to do the challenge (and stick with it for 3 years) before asking to join. Thanks!!
I have also started crossing off names of people who I think are no longer involved with the quest. If your name is crossed off in error, then please PM me! Hopefully by doing this we will be able to keep the "community" feeling going and know exactly who is in the quest!!
Eventually I'll delete the crossed out names and move people up the list (unless people are attached to their current MFiT numbers).

DD might get a bit difficult for TallGirl to keep track if the MFiT Numbers are changed. Suggest that you delete the crossed out names but leave the numbers as they are .0 -
Yes please leave the numbers but do take people off the list. I will only add people to the chart or update them if the PM me. It is just too time consuming for me to find it amoungst the general chat.
Next chart will go up at beginning of August so we will see who is going to be updated and maybe that will be an indicator that they are still with us on this. By the way we now have 45 on the list but about 4 still have not made any progress and are on £0.Save £12k in 25 No 49

Hey, Dithering Dad, you red lined me already! and I only just joined!
Maybe my first post wasn't clear - my mortgage amount is £22,675.94 and I want to pay the whole lot off. I'm not getting a rental income yet (waiting for the council) but have managed to e-bay a total of £216.23 worth of stuff! (well, it's a start),

Our fixed period finishes at the end of August, and we've just about got a new one lined up - have to wait until 2 July. I set up my budget to run for the tax year - easier as I'm self-employed and keeps all the dates "clean". We're off to France in 3 weeks - now with our foster kids in tow, which will make it slightly more costly overall, but we have a decent budget for that what with foster fees now. Will take some cash but will use Nationwide CC in France and pay off full balance on return. However, had budgeted for the mortgage being £500 a month and it looks like it's going to be just under £400. So we're going to set up a monthly overpayment of £100 at the same time, which we've been told we can vary up to 10% - and we will do so whenever we can. Will have all the new car loan money by end of July (£10000), so that will be paid off. Kitchen loan (£6500) is 0% 12 months and have salted some of that away too - not sure about figures but will update when checked. Forgot 0% CC a couple of times and so used Egg money CC but have cash to pay off full balance (£400.28) when due. Two mortgage payments due before change, next one due on Monday 25th. Also when in bank yesterday asked if online access available to view mortgage balance: answer no, but given phone number to check. Needless to say it's an 0870 but already looked up the alternative number and it's a freephone one - yeah! OH changing jobs after hollybags, same field just a different agency and has been told LOTS of work in local area so no driving costs - especially parking fees - Edinburgh is terrible and getting worse as the zones are extending further and further into the suburbs. Not a personal problem of mine as I have a Blue Badge and there are currently no time limits here in Scotland. Think that's about it for the mo. When I'veupdated all my figures, I'll try and do the signature thingy thing - lol!
