I spoke to their tech support phone team and they said that I could return the item within 7 days for any reason at all (ie, I didn't like it)

That'll be because of the 7 day distance selling law, they have no choice lol

I just like that you can send it back if you have any worries,

Oh, and they sent me an email with a UPS ref number saying that my item had been dispatched already and that it should be here within 48 hrs:D

Those terms are illegal, you are allowed to return goods for any reason within 7 working days after delivery under the distance selling regulations.

They also say if an items faulty they will replace and if not give a credit note, even tho you would be entitled for a full refund.

However i wouldnt deal with anybody who thinks they are above the law i would stay away and buy elsewhere

    Distance selling regulations

    http://www.oft.gov.uk/advice_and_resources/resource_base/legal/distance-selling-regulations/cancellation-periods

The regulations give consumers an unconditional right to cancel an order. This is to allow the consumer the opportunity to examine the goods or consider the nature of a service.
If a consumer cancels an order, written notice must be given to you by:
    • goods – seven working days from the day after that on which the goods are received by the consumer;
    • services – seven working days from the day after that on which the consumer agrees to go ahead with the contract.
If you fail to provide consumers with written confirmation of all the required information, then the cancellation periods can be extended up to a maximum of three months and seven working days. If the missing information is provided during this time, then the cancellation period ends seven working days beginning with the day after the full written confirmation is received by the consumer.
Where a contract is cancelled, the consumer must ensure that reasonable care is taken of any goods received and 'restore' them to you. This does not mean that they have to return them - unless you stipulate this in the contract - only that they make them available for you to collect.
You must refund the consumer's money as soon as possible and, at the latest, within 30 days of receiving the written notice of cancellation. The consumer may, at your discretion, be charged the direct cost of returning the goods, but you must tell them about this in the written information you give them.

    Unbeatable state in the terms

    Unwanted Items:
If you are not satisfied with the product you purchased, you can return it to us within 7 days of receiving the item, and we will refund your original payment*. As we use the PayPal payment module all refunds will be processed through PayPal. If you originally paid via Credit/Debit card, your funds will be returned to the original card.
All unwanted (not faulty) returned products must be sent in their original boxes, containing all of the supplied accessories.
*Refunds are issued after an extensive inspection of the product by our technical team. Consumers must provide all contact details in case the technical team require any further information.

I just e-mailed the Site Administrator about this issue, and received this reply after about 5 minutes:

    Dear Trevor,

Thank you for contacting us. We are sorry to hear that our returns policy is in breach of the UK distant seller laws. We have checked our policy and amended it accordingly. All returns are refunded directly back to the consumer's payment method immediately after our technicians inspection.

We hope that you visit us again in the near future.

Thank you for your kind information.

    Regards,

Thanks for the research guys, I was feeling a little nervous about it, but now my mind feels more at ease.

At that price, I couldn't resist and hopefully I'll get it in the next day or so and I'll report back as to how it is.

    Good luck to me!
