I can change my bank to the Flexaccount.
I don't really want a variable product but I read somewhere that base rate might stay at 0.5% for the next three years or so.
But what I have read from Nationwide is that you can get the Flexclusive up and running then can switch to the fixed rate at any time with a £990 fee. The rates offered are 3.09% which is the rate that I cannot get directly with a 68% LTV. The only risk is that this rate will not be available by the time I complete the Flexclusive +2.59%.0
