Hi
Thinking of doing a 3/4 bird roast this year. Wouldnt attempt to make my own but would like a nice tasty one that held together ! However, there is a lot of shop selection out there so just wondering about peoples reviews/ recommendations. Tia Spring.

Not for me. I only roast one bird at a time..Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0

We love the Aldi 4 Bird roast.
We have 3 or 4 throughout the year, when money allows.
I feel its a bargain at £9.99.

I had the Aldi 4 bird roast last Christmas and enjoyed it, thought it was good for the price.0

The Aldi 4 bird roast is superb at £9.99. Next year I will buy a couple in August though at £6.99 or did you mean you wanted to make your own 3 bird roast ?0

Just edited to say no I wouldnt even attempt making one! Am thinking of the Aldi one now, seems to be some good reviews. Has anyone tried the Asda or Tesco ones this year ? TIA Spring.Moneysaving? - I cant stop spending because of this site!0

I'm having the same as as I had last year - goose on the outside, then chicken then duck. Each has a layer of stuffing round them, separating them from each other. I get my butcher to do it for me so I don't really know much about what other variations there are.
I told my boss about them last year but not in any great detail. This year she's buying three birds separately and doing it herself!!! She's downloaded a video which she says makes it 'really easy'. Hmm...0 -
It's not that difficult to make a multi bird roast yourself but if you are not confident you can do it then any butcher should be able to make one to your specification that way you get to choose the meats used & the type of stuffing rather than settling for whatever is in the supermarkets.
Just don't ask for a Rôti Sans Pareil, eating protected species is frowned upon these days so the closest you can get to that is a True Love Roast.0 -
Anyone know if the Aldi 4 bird roast is still available? I hear that stocks area bit low.0
