May be a fun, cheap, present for someone. in 2013/2014 a time capsule will be sent to the moon and you can include your message/video/picture etc.

Voucher cloud (download app on your phone) has an offer to get this offer half price (£3 instead of £6)

visit http://www.messagetothemoon.com/ for the details

Offer ends Saturday

Why would anyone want to send a message to the moon??

I can think of easier ways to waste £3

I think my DS would love to send a message to the moon. £3 would be worth it for him to think it's going to happen.
However it appears the offer is only valid from a mobile app.

I couldn't find it online either unfortunately, just via the mobile app. The app is free, but if you do not have the facility maybe you could ask somebody with a smartphone? I'm sure they wouldn't mind.:T
