Now why wouldn't a legal document (which hasn't been amended) suddently not stand ??

Your Hubby my dear sounds an absolute prize a*hole (and I'm being kind !), whom obviously has no ones best interests at heart execpt his own .... what a lucky escape you're about to have !.

Your trust deed re the 24k WILL still stand (unless as it has been amended by both parties, or revoked of course .... which doesn't appear to be the case).

He appears to be both manipulative and deciteful, and my advice would be to engage a good family solicitor to play him at his own game.

    Hope this helps
