  • Cable is supposed to be launching a big study into changing the whole UK insolvency process. Currently it is geared mostly to the interests of big business and the banks (no surprise there then). As a LibDem he perhaps has more chance of shaking off the shackles of these vested interests, but there will no doubt be huge opposition and I'm not convinced as to how effective he is when push comes to shove.


    Just remind me how old he is. I am sure he won't have the time, that Danny bloke might if he had a backbone.

    pretty sure that Comet made profits until 2010.

    Like Woolworths (another ex Kingfisher company), not much long term hope when sales and margins are falling and saddled with store lease costs.
