Are they insured and if they're not are you going to be liable for any damage or injuries they may cause, let alone failure to capture your wedding photographs.

I must say, I love all the negativity. It's like people plain don't read the thread but just want to chip in ;-) this is not an Ms exercise- this is because there plain isn't money for a professional photographer... So yes, if they didn't capture the pictures well then I wouldn't have professional pictures- I wouldn't have had them anyway so I haven't exactly got anything to lose...

I do however appreciate your points about liabilities insurance, how they will work as a group and suggestions about how to look at payment methods so please do keep them coming :-)
