Nationwide 5 fixed deal ending today

I have a 2 year fixed deal with nationwide due to end in 3 months, went into nationwide today and was offered 5 year fixed at 5.44% no fee!

I said I would sleep on it and contact them on Tuesday, I've read on the net tonight that nationwide have new deals coming out on Tuesday (the 5 year deal above has been withdrawn) does this mean I have missed the boat? :mad:

Am afraid you might have.
We offered on a house on fri and our advisor suggested snapping up that deal.
We booked it up and the nationwide consultant admitted after that she'd just read that the rate was being withdrawn on tues.
We were away over the weekend otherwise I would have put it on here, sorry.
Worth a try tho as it may still be valid ubtil cob tues...

it closed to applications at 23:59 last night, they were able to put forward applications in for anytime in the next 3 months but I think they had to go into the system yesterday. Much the same as the OP but our 2 yr fix was ending in August so we just took the redemption hit to ensure we got the deal, for the sake of £200 the savings over the deals offered from this morning make it break even within a year
