Thread Merges, posts moved etc

I am tired of week old threads being used to merge a new deal just because its the same shop.
The titles no longer make sense, you have no idea if its a popular deal as the heat has gone from the original thread and anything that relates to the new deal gets thanks way down the thread.
I am tired that anything that is considered coming from a supermarket gets moved to food shopping and groceries, when is 75% off a £500 waitrose not a grabbit?
Everything is just getting interferred with.
I have contacted the MSE team to tell them that its all just gone too far, this is not what is needed by a board guide, this board ran itself, a board guide would delete codes in threads and merge threads that related exactly to each other, NOT make one huge thread fir anything vaguely related to toysrus, disney, superdrug, elc, bodyshop, argos etc

Voice your opinion and the m&s grabbit post got locked0

I'd reply, but my post would only be deleted and the thread locked. Again.
Ridiculous.0 -
It's frustrating.
I understand that sometimes if threads are duplicates they should be merged to de clutter.
However, the mods should read the two threads first to make sure they're not different.
Eg - the bodyshop thread that was merged today - the deal on the original thread had expired, and the deal in the new thread was hidden once it was merged into the old thread.
It just makes things more confusing, especially as the old thread had dropped down a few pages.0 -
Redfox unmerged it now, i cnhanged my original title to say it shouldnt be merged.
Now at least peole can see the new bodyshop deal got some heat so they will look at it, rather than an old thread with no heat left.
I have mailed the mse team the link the m& s thread so they can see how unhappy some are with all this messing around.
An old thread slides off the board on its own, leave it alone.0 -

and all of the mse admin team as well so it's not just board guides who do stuff around here, you know
you're pretty quick to cast blame when you don't know the facts, IMO.
personally I think redfox is the best board guide there's ever been :T0 -

In 7 years you have posted 500 threads? Im sure you know a lot about the grabbit board lol0 -
my reasons and circumstances for posting or not posting have no relevance to this and nothing to do with you either. Please do not resort to personal comments in an attempt to justify your argument.0
