Argos Click N Collect

Hi All,

early Friday morning (approx 00:30) I ordered some bits from Argos to collect from a store.

I got their email, which stated I had until close of business Saturday to collect.

Went into store Sat morning, to be told "No, our system says they had to be collected by end of Friday".

Not a problem, as the items were in still in stock, but it could have been.

Has anyone else had this happen please? Is it a known "glitch" in the Argos system?

Just curious really.

    Never had that happen with Argos but did have it happen with something I reserved with Toys r Us. Email I had told me I had 2 working days to collect it. When I went to pick it up it wasn't there as they had removed the reservation after a day or 2. I showed them the email so they searched the stockroom and luckily found one.
