Watch Batteries & Straps

Usually got my watch batteries and straps from Jim Fitzimmons unit in the In Shops on High Street, Belfast.

Now that the In Shops has closed does anyone know if Jim has setup shop somewhere else? Or does anyone know of a similar outlet in Belfast which provides batteries, straps etc at a reasonable price?

There's a bloke at the crumlin road car boot sale most Sundays who does this at very reasonable prices. Think it's about £3 to have a battery fitted.

Timpsons will do just as well in my opinion.
  • I also noticed a place in the Great Victoria Street Mall.
  • Just to confirm that the wee watch man from the in shops has now a shop located nearby down Pottingers Entry. Finally found out today this is where he moved to and for anyone who needs watch fixed, battery replaced etc I've always found him to be cheap as chips and very quick. Highly recommended.
  • Thanks for all the replies. Went to the watchmaker shop in Pottingers Entry (as whiteside said it's the watch man from the in-shops new shop).

Great service as always although he did say they had to increase their prices slightly to pay for the new larger premises.
