Sorry Oldhand, that was not my purpose for posting it . I (like others) have children to collect after work and wanted to give people a bit of advanced warning.

Sitting in your car in a queue of traffic for a hour (when the journey normally takes 15 minutes) is not on, especially when you have an upset child wondering where you are.

It was posted with good intentions to help people plan to get home and take care of all the stuff that needs done before roads etc might be blocked.

I am sorry if I offended you. I have deleted the list.

Posting the list is a good idea. At least if we know about the protests we can plan our routes to avoid them. Don't apologise jellybean, I found it very useful.

Jellynose, I have to agree with dizzyg. Leaving the posting would have helped others in the same situation as yourself. I actually came on to this board looking for such information, as it had been displayed in a different thread last week.
If you find yourself in a similar situation and post, you will get my thanks.
