They dont have to take it back at all unless it is faulty. I honestly dont think they will if you've had it 3 months, if they still stock it at full price you could loose the receipt and claim it was a gift, even then, you'll be relying on their goodwill.....
Good Luck0 -
I was going to say try saying it was a gift, and tht you had to ask your mum to get the receipt off your granny very tactfully (or somesuch) and that she had bought it too far in advance. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

To be honest, i'd play dumb and say that you bought it from another store last week and you have misplaced the receipt. And now wish to exchange it for a credit voucher
Like the "To be honest" :rotfl: quickly followed by telling porkies (um, sorry playing dumb) about where and when it was purchased.
I do agree that this strategy may work, best of luck.0 -
The item is a wedding dress, so think I have to tell them I bought it and changed my mind but tell a fib about where the receipt has gone. I bought the dress when it was reduced, it has since gone back up and been reduced to the same amount I paid for it, so if it works, I shouldn't loose any money.
I do love the dress, but have since discovered the dress I orginally wanted has also been reduced and is now within my budget. If all fails, I will try my luck on ebay-though don't have great hopes for that0 -
Hi,
Being as the item is a wedding dress can't you throw them a sob story about how your hubby to be has run off with the cleaner or summit?!
Just an idea! (Hope he doesn't, BTW! - Good Luck!)0 -
I have returned once an item in Next which was out of 28 days and they gave me next voucher for the current selling price. I think just take it back and they should be able to give you credit voucher. As long as its not used, they should be fine with it.0
