Payment for Untaken Holiday

in Cutting tax
Morning all,
I finish work on voluntary redundancy at the end of the month due to the role relocating some 170 miles away.
I have some holiday that I have not used and I agreed with my manager that in order to maximise my time in the office to get stuff wrapped up that I would take payment in lieu (they allow time out for interviews etc so I didn't need the holiday for that and would rather have the £ than time sitting around).
Is the payment for unused holiday taxed etc?
Many thanks.
