Credit Report help ??

To cut a long story short I am trying very hard to turn my credit report around, however every time I improve it, something else comes along to give me a kicking.
I have recently successfully removed a CCJ from my account so ran another credit check to see if that has improved, it's now worse.
I notice that a debt from AKTIV KAPITAL has now been logged on my account as being in default, there is currently a payment plan set up for this account through DEBT MANAGERS LTD and has been for 3 or 4 months, however last week AKTIV KAPITAL decided to mark my credit report with the fact that I have an account with them that has defaulted.
I have spoken to DEBT MANAGERS LTD who say that this is nothing to do with them and that I would be best to speak with AKTIV CAPITAL. However, surely if DEBT MANAGERS now seem to own and manage this debt then what has it to do with AKTIV KAPITAL.
I have successfully managed to pay off around £30k of debt in the last 2 years but am now worried that this is actually something else rather than an error in communication between the 2 companies.
So does anyone know if these 2 are actually the same company for a start or can suggest what I should do.
The last thing I want is to find yet another debt that is coming to find me.

I thought that if you did set up a payment plan then you have broken the 1974 whatever it is called and companies can put a default on your report. And the first company is the company you took the credit out with so they are the ones that mark your history. The second company just take money off you.
I am no expert here and quite possibly wrong.
To be honest I never want to get credit again so I have not looked into the default system.0 -
Send to the data controller registered mail
"Please note I do not acknowledge any debt to your company.
I note that you have recently added a default notice to my credit file, held by [ CREDIT REFERENCE AGENCY] without contacting me or giving me any notice of your intention to do so in contravention of the Consumer Credit Act. This is also in contravention of your obligations under the OFT and FSA guidelines.
Neither has any organisation sent me a notice of assignment of the benefits of a contract to your organisation in contravention of common law if such assignment did, in fact, take place.
I further note that I have never entered into a contract with your organisation, or given you permission or consent to process my data. Therefore by processing my sensitive personal and distributing it to third parties without lawful reason you have contravened the terms of the Data Protection Act 1998.
I further note you have not sent me a notice of fair use of my data, as required by the data protection act 1998.
Please be aware that your actions may constitute libel, serious infringement of the OFT and FSA code of conduct, and that since I have not given your company permission to process my data it may also constitute a breech of the data protection act 1998.
I ask that you take action to remove any information you have distributed to third parties, and to stop processing my data immediately OR that you supply me with a notice of assignment of a contract, data protection consent, and a copy of the aforementioned contract within a period of 12 days. And that in any case you stop processing my data until you have sent me a notice of fair use of my data as required by law.
Yours Sincerely,
