Don't understand anything

Options
I do hope somebody can help me. I'm not particularly computer literate and am certainly not moneysavingexpert.com literate. I have read through all the getting started info but most of it went over my head. Can someone tell me very basically and simply how I send a message and also when I have replies how I retrieve the answers. I sent a message today and it says I have replies but I dont know how to find them.

Please help as I really want to become part of this wonderful site.

Nettie

If you mean private messages, to send one, choose your recipient, click on their name and in the drop down menu, select "send private message to....."

To retrive messages, at the top right hand corner under your name, it will say "private messages" in a blue text, click that and it will take you to your inbox.

As I see you are posting on the Reclaim Bank Charges board it could be the posts you have made that you are looking for.

Sometimes they are moved into a relevant thread so if you can't find your post, click on your user name, nettie520-0, and using the drop down box view your posts and just click on the post you want find.

Have a read of the Reclaim Bank Charges Help Thread as you'll find lots of answers in that thread to help you through your claim.

  • Im new to this too. My head is about to go I think lol. I'd just like to ask, do you have to send the bank £10 to get your list of charges? I wrote to my bank to get the list, they replied saying that they couldn't refund me, but did not mention my charges.

  • I bank with Nat West and we have two accounts, 1 business and 1 joint. I sent two separate letters to them for each account but they only wanted £5.00 in total for the statements. Hope this helps
