Need to replace Christmas dinner set

Anyone know anywhere that is doing nice Christmas dinner services?

What's left of my very expensive one is now in pieces and I can't find anything to replace it with

Preferably something white and red or white and gold etc

Had a very quick look online and I can't really see any really Christmassy design apart from pairs of mugs etc.

Marks & Spencers have 2 designs that are white with red- 20% off at the moment.
Argos have 12 piece set- 4 dinner, 4 smaller plates, 4 bowls red outside, white inside. £11.99 Called colour match poppy red.

Haven't been able to find anything like the one I had (porcelain with gold rims and traditional santa,reindeer and snowman images in the centre -not in a tacky style but very lovely and with an original price of £35 a plate:eek:) .

I've ended up going with this one though,it's white and red and the star bit makes it a little more festive I guess.

There are some on ebay if you have the time to trawl through (probably best to start with prices high to low - I normally search the other way round) to find the better sets.

Glad you got something even if it is not quite the replacement you would have liked. The Viners Starburst looks nice- and now out of stock! Perhaps that was your purchase!!
