As my title says - I think I have become really unlucky (in the comping world). I have been entering sooo many over the last couple of months and haven't won anything
I stopped entering them as I was really poorly for a few months (pregnancy).... I have been entering loads of baby comps hoping I'd win something. I'm not asking for much, just a little something
Anyone else feeling as unlucky as me??
Sorry, I realised I should have put this in the other discussion forum....damn baby brain haha. But don't have a clue how to delete or move

Hi. I have had a poor year compared to previous, hardly any wins but then in the last month a £50 cheque and a another small but useful prize. Although the odds of winning has gone down over the past couple of years the dry spells always come to an end and the win is appreciated more. Your win will come when you least expect it. Good luck with baby.0

hi lauren, i was only thinking the same a couple of weeks ago, feeling unlucky with comping and life ! but i carried on comping
( was doing loads previously) whenever i was having a coffee or had a spare hour, last week i got my first wem's and the second one was for £1000.
Its pure luck and your time will definatley come.
Wishing you lots of luck x2013 WINS
pepsi tshirt, cosmo diesel goody bag, toni & guy hair smoother, £100 lesuire vouchers, chloe bubbles & nail file, £500 myro learning books & fake tan

Keep going, Lauren. We all have days/weeks/months like this but when something does come through the door/phone rings or you get a WEM, it's worth it no matter how small. Sounds like you've got the best of prize of all coming you way - a baby! :j There's nothing like a new baby! Enjoy and keep comping. Your luck will turn soon.
Thanks to all those who post competitions! Comping on and off since 2009

Feeling exactly the same as you. I was winning something nearly every week when I started comping about 18 months ago but for thelast 6 months ive hardly won a thing.
Saw on IWIW that someone had won 3 hampers in a week yesterday and sulked to OH and said its not fair. He reminded me that I had had some lovely wins over the last year and pointed out that in fact the TV we were watching was a win.
I hope our turn comes for a lovely win soon xxAugust - December 2011 prize total approx £1450.:j0 -
ohh i also feel the same,i am in the same boat as you are. i am also entering loads of baby competitions but alas no luck. i think we pregnant ladies don't win baby competition coz lots of greedy people who don't even have a baby enter them just for fun. and the sad thing is they dont even use the prize:(laurenpurdy123 wrote: »As my title says - I think I have become really unlucky (in the comping world). Gosh this seems harsh.
How do you know it is true that greedy people who don't even have a baby enter them just for fun and the sad thing is they dont even use the prize?
Grandmas, mams, aunties and friends may enter for relatives and friends who are pregnant or have new babies.
Do hope you and all the above win something soon.Be Lucky Everyone0 -

lol. I guess we all have good and bad comping phases. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Ohhh ouuch , what makes you think that? If you know someone who is doing that ask them if they can pass the unwanted prizes on to you. I am not a pregnant lady and I don't have a baby of my own, but I do enter baby comps for my 3 little grandchildren and also for friends who are expecting babies and finding it hard to meet the costs.
At the end of the day anyone can enter a competition and thats the good thing about it, we all have a chance to win. I hope you win something soon. Many thanks to the wonderful staff at Birmingham Childrens Hospital caring for my tiny and very poorly grandson who was born at 29 weeks. Thanks to them he is getting a little stronger every day.:A:A:A0
