Was wondering if anyone could assist. Due to economic downturn, increased prices of material, food and energy I can no longer sustain my small buisness with negligible profit, on top of that hmrc now insists I repay vat back from 2009 which I cannot possibly pay, I have contested against their case and they still insist I…

Hi guys got 2 more queries, 1) suppose I do go BR, im I able to dispose of any assets associated with the buisness? Ie equipment, pots and pans? 2) I'm confused on who makes me bankrupt, does hmrc do it or do you have to seek legal service? I'm assuming you would pay if you do this yourself?
