'Tea party' food ideas including someone with allergies

Hi, I've left it very late but next Friday I'm having a little 'tea party' with a few friends for my birthday. I have no idea what food we can do though, it needs to be simple and if home made then quick and easy to make (better still made a few days in advance'. One friend is ceoliac and unable to tolerate dairy (eggs are fine) and can't eat nuts (traces of nut are ok). I'm stuck! She's baking a suitable cake but not sure what else to do. I thought prawns but another friend doesn't like anything fishy (and would worry about getting food poisoning). Ay ideas please? I did think of honeycomb which I like making and rolling it in choc, maybe some in Cadbury choc and a portion in dark choc (my friend can have high coco choc), I don't know how long in advance I can make this as I've never coated it in choc before. I'm totally stuck for ideas, it's ok to have some non gluten free things but need the alternative and don't want to have double things. Any ideas would be great please!

What sort of food are you trying to make? Use vegan recipes but include eggs (if you want to). Or just use dairy substitutes for whatever recipe - switch the butter for vegan marg (e.g. vitalite, pure, etc) and use soy milk instead of cow milk.
Oops, nearly missed the coeliac bit. You'll also need to sub in gluten-free flour e.g. Doves.0 -
Careful if you do use cadbury chocolate as some of it isn't suitable for coeliacs.
Chicken wings are good and you can do them in advance (dust with seasoned gluten free flour and cook for about 20 mins, if you do them the day before you can just reheat them on the day).0 -
Stuffed eggs. Cut hard boiled egg in half and remove yolk and mash it up. Flavour with paprika or curry powder and pipe back in a swirl0

244 gluten and dairy free recipes.
A gluten/dairy free casserole could be prepared in advance, veggies come from the freezer and reheat quickly, and some gluten-free rolls and crackers (dairy free spread). For pudding you can get dairy-free icecream or sorbet, or dairy/gluten-free chocolate muffins warmed through with a soya custard or a dairy-free dark chocolate sauce.A kind word lasts a minute, a skelped erse is sair for a day.0 -
If you're going for finger-food type stuff, how about potato skins with a dressing, also dips with veg, (sliced peppers, carrots, cucumber) etc - very quick and easy to make, you could make hummus (recipe here: http://www.celiac.com/articles/22230/1/Traditional-Hummus-Gluten-Free/Page1.html), salsa (recipe here: http://allrecipes.co.uk/recipe/8715/tomato-salsa-dip.aspx) , guacamole (recipe here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/realguacamole_81424)[not sure if you'd get avocado's this time of year though. You could also do a plate of sliced meats and cheeses - this would cater for both those who do and don't eat dairy as they could pick themselves.
Sweet stuff: these brownies: http://www.vegansociety.com/lifestyle/food/recipes/cakes/choc-brownies-gluten-free.aspx
You might be better of deciding what it is that you'd like and then google for dairy-free, gluten free recipes or alternatives and pick the ones that are easier/quicker to achieve?0 -
little meringues filles with chocolate spread - not nutella - and sliced fruit? or parhaps covered with soy yoghurt & fruit just before serving?0
